Introduction essay

·         Sentence 01: Introduce the topic with a general statement relevant to the issue (basic sentence or “whether” structure along with “remains controversial” phrase)

Eg: The issue of using discipline in teaching children remains controversial.

Eg: The mission of teaching children to become successful is far from easy.

·         Sentence 02: State 2 opposing views (with “while” structure)

Eg: Some people believe that … while others claim that …

Learn from the negative and positive fixed phrases in the 1st lesson (6 ways of writing introduction).

·         Sentence 03: Show the view

Argumentative

I am (strongly / absolutely / partly) convinced by the former / latter idea … for the following reasons.

I am of the former belief … for the following reasons.

I totally agree with the former / the latter idea … for the following reasons.

Discussion

Both sides of the issue will be discussed in my writing.

My writing will analyze both sides of the issue.

Each idea has its own validity.

NOTE:

·         Không ăn cắp y xì các từ trong chủ đề vào mở bài của mình.

·         Viết không quá 3 câu.

·         Tận dụng các cấu trúc tích cực và tiêu cực trong lesson 1.

Eg:

·         Câu 1: Camera được lắp đặt ở một số nơi công cộng như trường đại học, bệnh viện.

·         Câu 2: Một số người cho rằng việc này có ảnh hưởng tích cực đến an ninh khu vực trong khi những người khác lại tin rằng sự riêng tư của mọi người bị đặt vào nguy hiểm do có sự xuất hiện của camera.

·         Câu 3: Tôi hoàn toàn đồng ý với sự xuất hiện của camera ở nơi công cộng vì những lý do sau đây.

→ Camera is installed in public areas such as school, hospital and supermarket. Some people believe that the appearance of camera has a good affect on social security while others claim that people's privacy is put in danger because of this decision. I totally agree with the existance of camera in public places for the following reasons.

            Death penalty

            Death penalty remains controversial. Several people believe that this policy has positive effects on the social security while others claim that the human right may be jeopardized because of this decision. I totally agree with the implementation of death penalty for the following reasons.

NOTE: Không được quá 2 câu.

·         Câu 1: Có từ chỉ đường: In conclusion / In summary / In brief / To summarize / To conclude.

·         Câu 2: Khẳng định lại quyết định của mình hoặc khẳng định lại giá trị 2 quan điểm và tóm tắt lại ý chính của bài. (Nguyên tắc của việc tóm tắt là phải thống nhất lại cấu trúc song song).

            Second point:

·         I totally agree / am strongly convinced by the former view / latter view + summary of main ideas (verb -ing / to  verb / adjective / Noun)

·         Each idea has its own value + summary of main ideas (with / Not only … but also / While)

Eg:      Nói tóm lại tôi hoàn toàn căm thù con mụ Lena vì sự ích kỷ, tàn nhẫn và độc ác của nó.

                        Nói tóm lại mỗi người đều có giá trị của họ với cô Lemai xinh đẹp, học thức và cô Lena dịu dàng, vị tha.

→        In conclusion, I totally hate Lena for her selfishness, cruelty and talkativeness.

            In summary, each person has her value with Lemai being beautiful, knowledgeable and Lena being tolerant and gentle.
